Impotence is the inability to maintain or achieve an
erection, resulting in difficulty participating in sexual intercourse.
Impotence can have emotional and physical cause, to physically become the
dominant cause.
The study says that garlic is able to treat impotence.
Not only that, but garlic is also believed to treat erectile dysfunction.
Effect of garlic happen in some way in your body.
As a parent, an artery in the body begin to
lose their ability to dilate, which can impede blood flow. This is due to a
reduction in the production of an enzyme known as Nitrate oxide synthase, or
NOS. Garlic contains NOS, an enzyme that plays a major role in the mechanism of
erection, and garlic has been shown to stimulate the production of NOS.
Allicin was discovered by Italian chemist CJ
Cavallito in 1944, and was one of the principle of biologically active
compounds of garlic. Allicin is mainly responsible for many beneficial effects
of garlic include the ability to contribute to the treatment of hypertension
and high cholesterol. Atherosclerosis contributes to reduced blood flow, it is
a causative factor of impotence.
When the garlic interacts with red blood cells
in the body of hydrogen sulfide, or H2S, is produced. Researchers from the University
of Alabama at Birmingham published a study in the journal Proceedings of the
National Academy of Sciences in 2007 which showed that H2S could provide a
relaxing effect on blood vessels and can reduce blood pressure and cardiac
protector have an effect.
Leader of the study, Dr. David Kraus, Ph.D.,
reported in his study that these effects come from polysulfides, which are
compounds in garlic that enhance the production of H2S. The ability of garlic
to improve circulation of blood vessels, which indirectly, contribute to reduce
impotence.
