How to Prevent Acne During Menstruation

To maintain the acid mantle, apply apple cider vinegar with cotton wool soaked in the face of the seven days before menstruation. Let the vinegar dry on the skin and repeat again. Perform this process at least twice a day.

2. Use Tea Tree Oil


Tea tree oil can kill all bacteria that cause acne. You should use them before and during mennstruasi. Some teas can also be applied directly to the skin using a cotton ball or can be mixed with regular lotion.

3. Enough Hydration


Another cause of acne is the dryness of the skin. For that, you are required to stay hydrated, by increasing the intake of water and fruit juices. Fruit juices rich in vitamin C are well known to the skin. This helps keep the skin healthy and boost immunity.

4. Control Your Stress


The main drugs to prevent acne during menstruation is to control stress. Thus, women are generally asked to not take a lot of pressure during the period.

5. Healthy Diet


Important to give your skin immunity against acne bacteria. Diet should include lots of green vegetables, fruits, nuts, essential oils. Avoid junk food, greasy foods and foods with excessive fat content. This is to ensure that the digestive system working properly.
